A huge poll has just dropped in Welsh Politics. The poll from YouGov/Cardiff University suggests votes in the Senedd election will be: - Plaid Cymru - 33% - Reform UK - 30% - Labour - 10% - Conservatives - 10% - Green - 9% - Lib Dem - 6% In terms of seats it would mean: Plaid Cymru - 39 Reform UK - 34 Labour - 10 Conservatives - 6 Green - 4 Lib Dem - 3 This is absolutely damning for Labour. Plaid have won a massive victory in the Caerphilly by-election beating Reform comfortably. The Labour vote has totally collapsed. It seems that in Caerphilly more people feared those who oppose immigration than the immigrants themselves.

Plaid Cymru has won the Caerphilly by-election for the Welsh Parliament, inflicting Labour's first defeat in the area for 100 years. Lindsay Whittle took 47.38% of the vote, with Reform UK on 36%, Labour third with 11% and the Conservatives getting just 2% bbc.co.uk/news/live/cly9…

This is a historic result for Caerffili, it’s a historic result for Plaid Cymru, it’s a historic result for Wales’ political story. Caerphilly has proven that Plaid Cymru has the momentum and can replace Labour as Wales’ leading party of government in May next year.
