California State Senator Scott Wiener's bills share one outcome: isolating kids from their parents, which is step one of every grooming playbook. Every trafficking survivor, every investigator, every abuse hotline describes the same pattern. Cut the child out of the family's sight, then move in. Four bills he authored or coauthored deliver that isolation as state policy: - 𝗦𝗕 𝟭𝟰𝟱 (𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟬, 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿): Judges got discretion to skip sex offender registration for certain offenses between adults and minors 14-17. Softer consequences for offenders. - 𝗦𝗕 𝟭𝟬𝟳 (𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮, 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿): California shields minors from parents pursuing them across state lines for gender procedures. - 𝗔𝗕 𝟲𝟲𝟱 (𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯, 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿): Kids 12+ can consent to residential shelter placement; professionals only have to make "best efforts" to notify parents, down from a firm requirement. - 𝗔𝗕 𝟭𝟵𝟱𝟱 (𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰, 𝗰𝗼𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿): Schools cannot be required to tell parents when a student changes gender identity at school. One pattern: fewer adults watching out for the kid, and lighter penalties for the adults who harm them. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 "𝗔𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁" 𝗙𝗶𝗴 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗳 Defenders say AB 1955 protects kids from dangerous parents. Abuse is already illegal. Mandatory reporting exists. CPS handles emergencies. Using a tiny percentage of bad parents to justify statewide parental exclusion enables predators while sounding compassionate. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗳𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗤𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 Why do his colleagues, including the governor, let this pattern continue?

@DanielTurnerPTF You are absolutely right. The idea of a moderate Democrat doesn’t exist. I was a Democrat until around 2010 but they have moved so far left I don’t recognize them. A few times since I voted for Democrats that sounded moderate but they voted with the crazies. Never again!

Tom Steyer wanted President Trump impeached because he rejected the climate change hoax. Now Democrats want Steyer as California’s next Governor. The idea of a moderate Democrat is dead.

For those of us who remember, at one point, fare gates and enforcement were met with huge resistance from the socialist proliteriat and a good chunk of the Bart board in San Francisco. Amazing. @debora_allen1

📝For those following quietly: A civil harassment petition was filed by the permit holder in response to routine documentation of the Hayes Street closure — a public street operating under a city permit. It cost over $50,000. It was denied by the court. The court affirmed this is protected civic activity — not harassment. We’ll continue documenting and reporting. ✌️
