I didn’t get the job in the other district. The post is down and I never got a phone call or email. I’m just desperate to have a better year than I did this year. This year was hard, behavior issues as well as students being k-3rd grade reading level in 5th grade.

@joypcoffee The other districts around me are in Alabama. I’m watching to see if anything else pops up in this district. The other openings would give me an over an hour commute

my student loan serviced keeps scaring me about my student loan payments because I’ve gone all this time since Covid with $0 and now it’s like hey it’s going to be anywhere from $200-$1400 but good luck figuring out the actual amount 😭

What #Teachers truly do not talk about: We gather asking for supplies on X/Twitter, & mid way through the summer a mysterious donor arises offering to buy supplies for teachers. Turns into a cult movement. Pits teacher friends against each other. Attacks others. #TeacherTwitter

@ScreenSaverKyra @forgetmenot49 If Trump doesn't have to pay debt, why should we? I'm boycotting medical bills and if I had student debt I would do the same. At most, pay a tiny bit. They aren't in a position to complain. You'd be surprised. Just don't be cocky. Have a light air of confusion.

@blazing_bishop @MarvelTeacher2 Most understand that. It’s typically when someone who isn’t a teacher comes in the community and stirs up trouble that it starts. Like currently with the argument that teachers shouldn’t have desks. It’s ridiculous

@ScreenSaverKyra @MarvelTeacher2 They have to know that some gifts are chosen randomly. I don’t discriminate based on the location, the grade or whatever. I have an inner sense that trusts my gift will be accepted with love and appreciated.
