Speech therapist Sai Keerthana Sriperambuduru (lovely English name) got hired by the NHS after claiming English was her native tongue just to skip the proper language test. Turns out her real native language is Telugu… She couldn’t understand her own colleagues, struggled talking to patients, and even needed a chat box during meetings because spoken English was too hard. She got sacked after eight months and has now been struck off for deliberately lying to get the job. A speech therapist. In the NHS. Who can’t speak English properly, you can’t make it up!
