Just watched a video that sent chills down my spine. A Chinese company fed a departing employee's skills, personality, and work docs into an AI — and created a “digital colleague.” This AI clone writes code in the original employee's style, replies to messages in their tone, even starts passing the buck at the exact timing they used to. No exit paperwork needed. HR just right‑clicks “enable AI copy.” The company didn't miss you. They missed the terabytes of work data you left behind. You worked for money when you were alive. After you leave, your AI works for free. Don’t think this is a China‑only thing. Big tech in the US has been eyeing this playbook. Pilot in China today, launch in Silicon Valley tomorrow. This isn’t sci‑fi. It’s the cyber countdown of the global workplace, 2026. Don’t learn AI? You can’t even compete with the ghost of yourself.

Already did. Filtered stream + custom rules — pulling tweets from my climate scientist list in real time, extracting geotags, aggregating by geohash, then cross‑validating with radar data. Storm tracking latency is around 5-10 seconds. The Iran war monitor was simpler: full‑text fetch from three news lists, named entity recognition, and event clustering. X API rate limits are much more generous than v2, but pagination cursors are still a bit tricky when bulk fetching historical tweets — had to implement exponential backoff to stabilize. Next step: webhook to push alerts straight to my phone. When are you opening up higher‑frequency enterprise streams?

Try using the X API
Robert Scoble@Scobleizer

Met a founding engineer today from @Replit. Jen Li. We were both judging the @Pokee_AI hackathon. They have me some credits and I built two apps in 20 minutes using the X API:a weather one which mapped storms being reported in by my climate scientist list and another monitoring my three news lists for information about the Iran war. Pokee includes X API for its customers automatically. While doing that my other AI read all your posts: alignednews.com/ai He tells me about why Replit is hugely important in the AI industry. In other words how you can use it in your life and business.

Don’t let one failure fool you. China is systematically deconstructing every piece of Falcon 9: engines, reusability, recovery. Tianlong‑3 crashed today — but their goal hasn’t changed: deploy their own Starlink with reusable rockets. Once they close that loop, the global launch market and LEO spectrum are no longer America’s private backyard. This isn’t a moment to laugh. It’s a moment to ask: where is our next generation rocket?

China's rocket that was supposed to be a Falcon 9 Killer Just Crashed Tianlong-3 (TL-3), the Chinese rocket built specifically to challenge SpaceX's Falcon 9, failed on its maiden flight yesterday (April 3) The Rocket: • 72-meter tall, reusable heavy-lift launcher • Designed for 17-22 tonnes to LEO........nearly matching Falcon 9 • Built by Space Pioneer (Tianbing Technology), one of China's most ambitious commercial space firms • Purpose: deploy China's Qianfan ("Thousand Sails") Starlink-rival constellation (currently ~100 satellites vs Starlink's 10,000+) Here's what happened: • Launched 12:17 PM local from Jiuquan (Gobi Desert) • Engine bay anomaly at ~33 seconds - amateur video shows small explosion • Vehicle lost roughly a minute later • Space Pioneer confirmed the failure and launched a comprehensive investigation Some Context: • This is China's 3rd private rocket failure in 2026 • TL-3 also had a infamous 2024 ground test where it broke loose and crashed into a mountain • No official livestream - standard Chinese practice to avoid public embarrassment • SpaceX's Falcon 9 had its own early failures too (CRS-7, Amos-6) before 300+ consecutive landings The gap just got even wider. Rocketry is brutally iterative and SpaceX has a decade head start on flight heritage video From @raz_liu

Killers get rights — lawyers defend them, NGOs speak for them, media blurs their faces, judges grant them bail. The victims? A girl lies in the morgue. Her mother screams till her voice gives out. Her father is treated as a troublemaker. Neighbors are afraid to step outside. Kids can’t play in the park. Human rights groups hold meetings to condemn “excessive enforcement.” Politicians distance themselves. Society bleeds. The killer enjoys three meals, healthcare, and counseling in jail — for free. This is your “human rights”? On one side, the killer’s dignity. On the other, ordinary people’s hell. Which side are you on?

NEW: Musician Murphy Campbell says she isn’t making money on YouTube because an AI company is cloning her music and filing copyright claims against her own videos “An entity called Timeless Sounds IR uploaded AI-generated versions of my songs to all major streaming platforms... They used a distributor, which I just discovered, and that distributor’s name is Vydia. They used Vydia to upload all these AI-generated songs. Vydia has since decided to make copyright claims on all of the videos that were used to feed that AI engine to sound like me. So Vydia has come forward and made copyright claims on my YouTube page. Because YouTube does not personally review these things, I am no longer making money on YouTube. Vydia is making money on YouTube off of my own videos of me playing my own banjo in my own backyard with traditional folk songs, some for my own family, over AI-generated music.”

FROM PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP WE GOT HIM! My fellow Americans, over the past several hours, the United States Military pulled off one of the most daring Search and Rescue Operations in U.S. History, for one of our incredible Crew Member Officers, who also happens to be a highly respected Colonel, and who I am thrilled to let you know is now SAFE and SOUND! This brave Warrior was behind enemy lines in the treacherous mountains of Iran, being hunted down by our enemies, who were getting closer and closer by the hour, but was never truly alone because his Commander in Chief, Secretary of War, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and fellow War Fighters were monitoring his location 24 hours a day, and diligently planning for his rescue. At my direction, the U.S. Military sent dozens of aircraft, armed with the most lethal weapons in the World, to retrieve him. He sustained injuries, but he will be just fine. This miraculous Search and Rescue Operation comes in addition to a successful rescue of another brave Pilot, yesterday, which we did not confirm, because we did not want to jeopardize our second rescue operation. This is the first time in military memory that two U.S. Pilots have been rescued, separately, deep in Enemy Territory. WE WILL NEVER LEAVE AN AMERICAN WARFIGHTER BEHIND! The fact that we were able to pull off both of these operations, without a SINGLE American killed, or even wounded, just proves once again, that we have achieved overwhelming Air Dominance and Superiority over the Iranian skies. This is a moment that ALL Americans, Republican, Democrat, and everyone else, should be proud of and united around. We truly have the best, most professional, and lethal Military in the History of the World. GOD BLESS AMERICA, GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS, AND HAPPY EASTER TO ALL!

Musk says his heaven is building tech with engineers. Mine is different: brew some coffee on a weekend, fire up Grok, feed it that line about logic, memory, packaging, masks all under one roof — then let the AI break it down. Why does co‑located iteration compress development cycles from years to months? How many more tapeouts does Tesla get while others wait for one? The AI runs the numbers, throws in some papers and thermal solutions for good measure. I don’t write RTL. I don’t touch photomasks. But I can use AI to understand the engineering miracle of a chip fab in half an hour. Others binge dramas. I binge fabs. Heaven? It’s Disneyland for tech geeks.
Elon Musk@elonmusk

My idea of a good time is working with amazing engineers to create incredible technology 🤩 The Tesla chip research fab will have all the machines needed to do logic, memory, packing & masks in one building for a lightning fast development cycle. Heaven 💫

Yep, and we’ll see a lot more of these. Everyone wants to build data centers and rent out compute, but very few can actually get GPU clusters up and running on time. CoreWeave — a serious player — walking away means Poolside’s issues aren’t small. Here’s the reality: fundraising is about slides. Execution is about power, fiber, cooling, and ops. Those aren’t things you can just throw a few hundred million at. Too many AI startups think buying H100s is the finish line — then they can’t even fill their own racks. This is the first pop of the compute bubble. More ‘many such cases’ coming. Question is: who’s still wearing pants when the tide goes out?

🚨 BREAKING: COREWEAVE WALKS FROM 2GW TEXAS DATA CENTER Poolside’s Project Horizon just lost $CRWV as anchor tenant and its $2B Nvidia-led funding round at the same time. The deal collapsed after Poolside couldn’t stand up its first GPU cluster to CoreWeave’s timeline. The capital followed the compute provider out the door. Now Poolside is in talks with Google and others to salvage it. The site is still real. 568 acres, 10GW ceiling, Permian Basin. They just need a new anchor.

But here's the wild part..... ChatGPT has no problem giving a step-by-step guide for suicide… yet somehow a quote from the Bible is marked as harmful and blocked as a policy violation Make it make sense...ChatGPT is just utterly woke AI 🤡
