Congrats to JV softball on defeating Evergreen Park 18-10 to start conference play! Caitlyn Heikes was the winning pitcher with 13 Ks. Offensively, she was 4-5 w/ 5 RBIs and a 3B! Haley Janda went 3-4 with a SAC bunt. Olivia Johnson was 3-5 w/ 3 RBIs. Audrey Montes had 5 RBIs.

We're hosting a Spring Arts, Crafts, Vendor Show! More than 100 crafters will be on display at the April 18 event. Admission is $2 per person. We hope you can join us!

The first Spring Choir Concert in our new Performing Arts Center! Thanks to everyone who attended the March 18 event. We love watching our students perform!

Congrats to junior varsity badminton for defeating Thornton Fractional (TF) North 15-0 on Tuesday and TF South 12-3 on Thursday!

Our staff presented at the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo! Their workshop was about the basics of character design. Social Studies Teacher Jason Nisavic, Student Teacher Zach Adduci, & Assistant Principal of Activities & Enrichment Ronell Whitaker joined DDE students/staff.

Congrats to boys volleyball on a strong showing at the Marist Tournament! The team finished 1st in the bronze bracket this weekend. After some close matches, the Astros bounced back with wins over St. Ignatius, Marist JV, and rival Argo to take the top spot in their division!

Easter egg decorating! Our Polish Club hosted this event on Tuesday. Participants had fun learning about the Polish language and traditions around this holiday while sharing kolaczki, babka, and paczki.

Congrats to our digital media students for making it to the state finals for their short film, Lumen! Edwin Carrero, Billy Kleina, and Xavier Ramirez qualified for the "Electric 18" Short Films in the IHSA Drama State Final. They find out tomorrow if they place in the Top 6!
