I think chapter 5 was meant to be build up for what happened to Dess for casual players, clearly laying out "something bad happened" and then probably using chapter 6 to show a ton more clear Dess information before probably ending with the reveal of what happened

@SillyGoofyMode_ they have a long way to go if they want a shot at actually defeating the knight.

If the logic here is that the presentation (look of the slash, sound effect) is different here and therefore not done by the same person who swooned Susie and Ralsei at the end of Ch 3... Then I guess the Knight didn't kill Tenna? Why would Chara do this

@UNDERSCOREALT95 It explains toriel having a nightmare, why the slash comes from where Kris is standing, why Kris gets knighted, why ralsei says "How could you...", why you have to kill susie and ralsei in the mantle minigame, and shows that Kris is more loyal to the knight than their friends

@SillyGoofyMode_ still shows that a finished slash of the knight turns white. which is just like the swoon attack at the end, since it's portrayed as a "single hit,moment of impact" what is unexplained like genuinely what Does they slash them theory add that its so Substantial.

@UNDERSCOREALT95 left one starts red & black before turning white & the one on the right is still just red fading into white. Even if the knight has white slashes, there's so much other stuff left unexplained without the theory that it doesnt matter.

@Nebula_Zorua Checked & all of the knight's white slashes start off as red & usually stay partially red during the slash, and the only time the knight uses pure white slashes are with its magic swords which aren't actual swords, just magic attacks

@Treesundere Yeah ok? I don't get what your point is here this is a smear frame of the sword & even still they show red slashes in their fight & we know for a fact this & tennas slashes are caused by the knight, the slashes against susie and ralsei are the only pure white slashes

@AspirinJuice425 Isn't she also immune to rude buster? In Undertale ghosts are specifically immune to normal attacks and weak to magic. Mad dummy even runs away after getting hit by Napstablooks tears. I'd say it's still kind of odd for her to be completely invincible
