@GreenCheetah99 What ride at Disneyland is higher than 48in? I dont know why people get so offended over this. As if the theme park should only be for YOU and YOUR NOSTALGIA. Get real. Let the kids create their own memories with things relevant to them. That doesn't mean you can't enjoy it too

@SimpleThoosie The max height is not 48 inches lol. Walt created Disneyland for adults since there was nowhere for adults and children to both enjoy themselves together. He also made it for himself as his own playground to build what he wanted.

I’ve never even visited Disneyland and this makes my blood boil. Nobody should be okay with this.

@GreenCheetah99 Hahaha ok. Objectively, it is and always was. It was literally the entire point of creating the park. Parks were skeezy, and Walt wanted to create one the entire family could enjoy. That's why the max height is 48in on the coasters "For kids" doesn't mean adults can't enjoy it

@GreenCheetah99 It is a children's ride. You haven't even ridden it! It's a movie that has zero cultural relevance to kids today. It's arguably not even appropriate for them. They should just tear it out. People think Disney should cater to adult nostalgia when it should be for kids

@Baleros_4 I wish there was more to do there. The canyon swing is one of the best flat rides in the world. It is very nice to just walk around

@TopThrillStatus Theyre called helical stakes. They use them on stuff like chimneys. It stops vortex shedding, it should reduce the amount of sway

More on the sheathing around the structure; Seems to be very similar to that found on deep sea oil infrastructure. It doesn’t appear to be structural in nature as it’s being held on with hose clamps.

I used to love @UniversalORL, then I went to @USJ_Official and realized they have significantly more minions. It ruined Universal Studios for me. Epic Universe doesn't even have 1 single minion. It is a travesty.

Enjoy it for what it is The Star Wars stuff is nicely themed, but it's for adults who think they're kids Where is Moana? Zootopia? Frozen?

@SimpleThoosie @theyeetseat If Disney had more than two thrillrides I'd add it to my list tomorrow. I'm just not as into Star Wars as everyone else. Maybe if they had an annual Stark Expo and really leaned into Marvel I could see myself going.

I don’t hate DFB, but praising horrendous decisions is the problem. It’s this type of grift that has ruined the parks. They go along because they get a paycheck. It’s the vloggers and Disfluencers that have destroyed the parks and turned them into insufferable slop zones.
