I recognize the power of fusion proteins, but as a chemist, I prefer doing the job myself (not the cell) linking two proteins as I want and by the site I want. Success depends on how good we are. Well, exposed Cys help a lot, Tyr and Trp too; Lys are too many, but numbers matter.
