@nike_eredar @Overshown0 @matt_talbot99 I never said they did and of course I know the joke. I said don’t let memes paint YOUR reality. The secret is to read all the words chief
English

@SirDukeOfLuke @Overshown0 @matt_talbot99 Memes don’t paint reality, thats been a long standing joke for awhile now. That fact that you never heard it doesn’t really change that.
English

Jesus Christ man that is the saddest thing I’ve ever heard
DakMuse@DakMuse4
Even though this game didn’t mean much, it meant everything to me. My favorite Dallas Cowboys game since I’ve been alive
English

@nike_eredar @Overshown0 @matt_talbot99 Yet the cowboys fans in this thread aren’t fans of any of the teams you just listed. Maybe you shouldn’t be chronically online to the point where memes paint your reality
English

@Overshown0 @SirDukeOfLuke @matt_talbot99 Hahaha calm your ass down, I’m talking about these old heads who saw all the rings.
Cowboys fans are the biggest bandwagon fans. Why you think there is a meme saying Cowboys fans also like the Lakers, Dodgers, Yankees. Relax lil bro and stay in your lane.
English

@matt_talbot99 @nike_eredar @Overshown0 Yeah there is a certain level of humor in it. Cowboys fans are slowly turning into Eagles fans, endlessly cheering for a team riding a multi decade chip drought while Eagles fans slowly turn into Dallas fans of old saying every year is their year. Life’s funny like that
English

@SirDukeOfLuke @nike_eredar @Overshown0 That is literally what you are saying, man. I know the point you are trying to make out of it, but you are quite literally saying the team has not produced anything to lead to current bandwagon fans. Could not be more clear in your point, actually. And it’s hilarious!
English

@matt_talbot99 @nike_eredar @Overshown0 Not what I said but it’s not surprising you missed point. If they’re rockin the star in these times, that ain’t bandwagon. That’s loyalty
English

@SirDukeOfLuke @nike_eredar @Overshown0 Hahahaha that’s a really good comeback. “Oh yeah? Well we aren’t good enough to warrant bandwagon fans. Checkmate!”
English

@nike_eredar @matt_talbot99 @Overshown0 You realize that by definition if they were actually bandwagoners then they wouldn’t be cowboys fans. They would have switched to a more recent winning team. Try harder next time
English

@SirDukeOfLuke @matt_talbot99 @Overshown0 Yeah it’s called bandwagoning. Its all old heads doing that shit because they popped off in the 90s.
English

@matt_talbot99 @Overshown0 It saddens me that you’re from Philly and don’t realize how incredibly common that is. Must drive around with your eyes closed
English

@CrazyCurtPhilly @FergSZN You literally have LeSean McCoy front and center of your fanbase and you say cowboys fans talk the most? That’s just silly
English

@FergSZN It’s funnier using the cowboys bc their fans talk the most shit & have a good FRANCHISE QB even won 5 NFC EAST title during that time… yet they never go anywhere. Making fun of Jets is like kicking a disabled person while they down. Thats not funny.
English

You know I’ve always wondered why the New York Jets aren’t the team for this “joke” since their playoff drought spans from 2010-2026.
They haven’t made the playoffs in 16 years
Underdog@Underdog
MLB Opening Day is underway! And just like that, the Dallas Cowboys have been eliminated from postseason contention.
English

@Lightning771717 Agreed they definitely built the team the right way but the right way had them miss the playoffs, what they did to get over the hump is spend in FA. Dallas has really good pieces right now and they need to spend wiser in FA to get over the hump before it’s too late
English

“Gonna be the Saints 2.0” well there really isn’t much difference between the saints and Dallas right now so I’d say you’re being scared of the wrong thing
BullsNation🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂🐂@Lightning771717
@SirDukeOfLuke @Moosethedon @TSand23 @rjochoa We’re going to be the Saints 2.0 at some point and more we push back money the closer we get to that date we can try and help some of that by not backloading Pickens contract and maybe even adding more to the front if we still have cap but it’s coming soon
English

@Lightning771717 Seahawks were 4th in 2025, they mentioned it a few times in the playoff games and in the Super Bowl

English

@SirDukeOfLuke lol the Seahawks have so much cap rn especially in next few years they haven’t done that in the slightest
English

@Lightning771717 Sign your franchise QB/WR earlier than right before the season which jacked the cost up significantly. The are in the predicament because of that more so than overspending on contracts or FA
English

@Lightning771717 You’re talking about a hard reset, which for Dallas to do that you need to say goodbye to players like Dak and wasting the prime of multiple others. Which could work. Smarter move would’ve been getting ahead of these contracts when they had a chance
English

@Lightning771717 The point is to abuse to win though. The last few teams that have won the SB have done just that. So is the point to save money or to win the Super Bowl?
English

@SirDukeOfLuke However that being said eventually it’s going to catch up to you if you abuse it too much, there’s only so far you can go until you get to the point where you can’t afford everyone anymore
English

@Lightning771717 Both teams have been ringless for over a decade, both methods aren’t working. That was my point. We need to imitate teams like the rams, Seahawks, Eagles, and Patriots.
English

@SirDukeOfLuke There’s a really big difference we’ve been pushing everything back to still resign people they’re were so screwed over last few years they could barely pay anyone and they don’t have much to restructure all that goes into them just staying positive there finally recovering now
English

@Lightning771717 @Moosethedon @TSand23 @rjochoa I understand you’re scared of dead money but you should be infinitely more scared of the drought hitting 40 years because the team won’t spend anything
English

@Lightning771717 @Moosethedon @TSand23 @rjochoa No where and unfortunately the trend seems to be continuing wherein they pay players late (costing more money) and don’t seriously invest in free agency. Which costs less money but leaves you with lower quality players
English

@Lightning771717 @Moosethedon @TSand23 @rjochoa Yes it is more complex than what I explained, but longer contracts equal lower cap hits and you can manipulate a longer contract (restructures) to convert some of the cap hit into signing bonus and free up space
English

@Lightning771717 @Moosethedon @TSand23 @rjochoa Let’s play this out super basically. You can tag Pickens and all that money is owed to him THAT season 28 mil cap hit
Or you give him a longer contract which includes signing bonuses and incentives. He still makes his 30 but not all of it hits the cap at once
English
