Ugandan 🇺🇬 authorities have arrested 231 foreign nationals in a large security operation targeting illegal immigration and unregistered businesses. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, those detained include people from Ghana, Ethiopia, Cambodia, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, and India, among others. The main raid took place at a closed apartment complex in Bukoto, Kampala, where 169 individuals were found living without valid passports or identification, including 36 women.

There is absolutely no need to continue with Commissions. Let the President put Lt. General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi as National Commissioner of Police, and resource the NPA with the team from Madlanga Commission to assist with the prosecution of those involved.
