Enhancing Service Excellence through Skill Development in Front Office Operations. DSDE, in collaboration with the Tourism Dept., GoAP, organized a 5 day Skill Development Training on Front Office Operations from 23rd - 27th March, 2026 at the State Food Craft Institute, Itanagar

Shri Gyati Kacho, Deputy Director, SDE, urged trainees to transform learnt skills into startups & sustainable livelihoods, motivating to become successful entrepreneurs. The initiative strengthens local empl., boosts tourism & nurtures entrepreneurship, powering a self-reliant AP

The programme blended hands on baking, creative cake crafting, hygiene & precision with real world homestay operations, including guest handling, grievance management & maintaining top notch cleanliness.

Empowering Youth with Skills, Sparking Entrepreneurship. Completion Certificates were proudly awarded to 50 youth, 20 trained in Bakery skills & 30 in Homestay Mgmt., as DSDE in collab. with Dept. of Tourism, GoAP, concluded a 5-day intensive skill training prog. under the CMYKY

The next batches for both prog. are scheduled to commence in May 2026 & interested cands. may contact DSDE for details. The initiative aims to enhance employment opportunities in high demand intl. sectors such as healthcare, caregiving, hospitality & allied skilled services.

The initiative marks a key step towards enabling gainful intl. employment for Arunachalee youth.The State Govt. is bearing 70% of the total trng. cost, incl. visa processing, trng. fees, exams, medical expenses & boarding & lodging, while remaining 30% to be borne by the trainees
