If they sprinkled it in the middle of the show it would’ve hit better instead of right off the bat, but it’s just to be silly and I like that they have fun with it every year. Not sure if Pablo’s been involved before but he was a “tell” about the bit being a joke the more he talked. Still fun though so I’m glad they thought of something and had some fun with it and moved on. Mike would’ve legitimately ranted about umpires, lol.

What makes PTI April Fools segments so believable? Tony and Mike are dedicated to the bits and the back and forth banter blends it together like every show. Then Tony drops the “do you wanna to tell them or should I?” and you know you got fooled.

@StatsBrad Agreed ... I wasn't really thinking April fools until one point Pablo was talking too long for a typical segment, then I was like " ah haaaaaa!" :-)

Great timing as I JUST got done watching it. Agreed, though. I saw something about ABS earlier related to PTI so I was looking for it (kind of a spoiler) and they started the show off with it. If Mike was there instead of Pablo I think it would’ve been more believable. It was okay, but it did feel oversold the longer it went on.

Awesome - we just watched this, again, at the area drive-in this past Saturday! Great movie!

@_we_love_food Most everywhere is or seems overpriced these days if that's the way you want to look at it. Such as, Red Robin priced us out from going and we used to go all the time - Burgers not nearly as good as Five Guys

Veterans- watch when you buy something from Home Depot. I bought some weed preventer/fertilizer. When I rang it up it gave me my military discount but when I went to pay, the discount disappeared. Re-rang it up and happened again. Had to get the cashier to manually put it in.
