All this talk about Medvedev's newfound aggression, take a look at the Aggression Scores from charting data, based on % of shots that end the point (for good or bad).
0 is average, Medvedev is -57 over the last 52 weeks, almost the least aggressive on tour. Indian Wells was ... mostly the same.

Elina Svitolina will take on Iga Swiatek in IW QF Iga has definitely played with more margin this week than she has recently and its worked well, this is another matchup that we've seen too much of to believe that Iga will be tested that much even though Elina has played well.

What an effort from Draper. Choked badly serving it out but level from 4-4 in the 2nd in particular was outstanding. Serving, ball striking, defence and physicality all through the roof.
Encouraging that he and Fills have returned to such high levels after their long layoffs.

@mattracquet I saw that and did wonder if maybe that was early signs of the elbow issue that plagued him from the end of the season into 2017. I’d be interested to see 2015 or earlier data. Still, says a lot he could dominate that tournament with that serve speed.

Djokovic having such a long career is a great window into how the game has changed. A 112mph avg first serve speed is basically unheard of in the top 10 in 2026

It's fairly obvious that taller players have an easier time hitting accurate serves (closer to centre/side line) but wasn't expecting quite such a stark grouping difference. Elite sub 6ft2 (188cm) spot servers don't seem to exist at the moment, most shorter guys favouring power

This is assuming your attempt at measuring the 'greatest of all time' is based on how players did against their peers, i.e. the true way of assessing it, rather than evaluating who would win in a modern day clash between them, which is always going to be the recent player.

If your assessment of the 5 greatest players of ALL TIME happen to all be 21st century players, it should immediately be setting alarm bells as to why you don't rate any 20th century players as on the same level despite them having quadruple the length of time to make their case.
