I've never claimed to be a hero. I'm not a combat veteran. I'm simply someone who believed that if I had the opportunity to serve my country, I should. That's why I stepped up. Only a small percentage of Americans ever put on the uniform. I'll always be grateful I had the chance to serve alongside some incredible men and women.
