Honestly, I love that the OG 6 are all weird variations or one-offs. It just feels so fitting. Sodor is a sanctuary for all sorts of engines, a place free from the dangers of scrap or the axe. Of course it attracts oddballs.

for Gordon, he's not as overpowered as everyone makes him out to be. The NWR mainline is hilly so needs a powerful engine like Gordon, without him the express

2. What's wrong with writing about Pip and Emma? They're blank slates in the RWS but there's so much potential in having such a drastically then-modern HST on Sodor. Plus they have cool names.

@theburiedtruck usually double headed or top and tailed, iirc with the top and tailed ones are for reversal moves so they dont need to run around

I've seen some people complain that the Island is scaled down compared to what it *should* be, however I think Jerome is completely correct - if it was any longer, people would get bored and complain!
It's perfect for the purpose it is meant to serve.

One thing i do think Wonders of Sodor pulled off perfectly is the map size/scale Both The Mainline and Thomas' branchline are just long enough to give you a solid run down the railway but not too long that it starts to become boring It's very well designed and pulled off!

class 47 47205 passes class 40 40105 between Lancaster and Preston with the Tidmouth - Manchester fish train in its final year of operation, this was one of the last fish trains in the UK. The 40 is heading to Barrow-in-Furness with a Liverpool - Barrow service. 1st May 1974
