@VOVinnie Alas, no. Nadir is buried beneath 300-400m of rocks and sediment. We only saw it in seismic data that can "see" beneath the surface of the sea floor.

Congratulations to LPL's Veronica Bray on this discovery! A great two-fer for @UArizonaLPL as former grad student Alan Hildebrand was involved in the discovery of the original Chicxulub impact as well.
