So the taxpayer is currently on the hook for £1.4billion to sort out the Post Office mess. Enough to pay for 46,000 teachers or to pay hospital doctors in full. Fujitsu currently liable for nothing, but is still working on government contracts. @RishiSunak @conser

The scandal which may be the Teesside Freeport will come out in full one day I'm sure. @PrivateEyeNews & @rbrooks45 have been excellent. Summary: We have put in hundreds of millions since 2021, and already £127 million has gone into private accounts!! 🔷Yday @FT : The private company & individuals involved have PROFITED in just over 2 years by £127 MILLION SO FAR. 🔷May 2023 @ft: THE GOVT (taxpayer money) has so far given the project more than £260 MILLION, as well as providing a £107 MILLION PUBLIC LOAN to build a new quay. @AndyMcDonaldMP said in parliament that this Freeport involves "industrial scale corruption" I'm learning more about this every day, and believe me it's eye opening .... Also @leighsus Jones is investigating this for the @yorkshirepost All good follows inc @EuropeanPowell Freeports and Charter Cities may well prove to be the biggest post Brexit scandal of all from this Tory govt ... and that's saying something !!

Talking to sub postmaster #PostOfficeScandal @tonydowney67 on my @lbc show earlier. Made bankrupt, forced to pay money he didn't owe, suffered severely with mental health, moved abroad to "escape". Now 2,800+ additional victims of Post Office have come forward from people who gave them the money they demanded and weren't prosecuted. Thank you Tony 🙏🏼🙏🏼 You are respected beyond measure.
