I love the UAE. It’s the first government I’ve ever truly trusted, and it's genuinely capable. ❤️🇦🇪 From floods to missiles, the leadership and management have been exceptional. Some people can’t understand it because they’ve never trusted or loved their leaders the way many of us do here.

I have never loved a country, never felt the need to defend one, and never truly felt protected by one, and I’ve lived in ten. Until I found my home in Dubai, UAE 🇦🇪 I somehow became a patriot of a country that isn’t mine by birth, but one that makes me feel deeply protected. I’ve been lied to by many governments before, but this one consistently follows through on its word. This current situation has made something that was always felt but invisible suddenly visible, the sense of unity among the expats who live here. Only residents will truly understand what I mean. There is a feeling of love, pride, and trust in the air, even in difficult times like these, as our rulers continue to show strength, diplomacy, and capability. P.S. no we’re not payed for writing this, we actually mean what we say, imagine what an achievement by the country. 🫶🏻
