This news is a little old, but after applying for 4 years, ~25+ applications, 7 interviews, 6 waitlists, 5 casper tests (3 in English 2 in French), 2 MCATS, 1 BSc, 1 MA(almost), and many months of waiting, I am very pleased to be able to say I’ve been accepted to medical school!!

@SarahJaneBork @DrLynneR I think the Dalhousie email address might be for the random draws available to Dalhousie students at some of the events but I am not sure if it is a requirement to join! I looked on the website but did not see anything indicating it was only for Dal students

Today should have been my best friend’s 25th birthday, and we are quickly approaching 4 years without him. Suicide leaves a hole that time cannot fill, and pain that it also cannot heal. I miss you so much brother. Love you J.

A friend among friends, a brother, a son, and a loving dude with one hell of a haircut.

Increasing help seeking without increasing our ability to help those who seek help will only lead to more tragic and preventible losses. We need to talk about moving towards solutions, but for today, I am going to take the time to celebrate J’s life and remember him as he was...

Why do we always have to try and prove that working 30 hours in a row harms patients? Is it not enough that it harms the doctors?
