The Nick Novak 2025 #CFL Specialist Showcase is set to feature some of the best free agents available, including 🇦🇺 Punter Andrew Stokes from the University of South Florida!
@Stokes4Andrew finished his career at USF as one of the best in program history. In 2024, he earned First-Team All-Conference honours from both AAC coaches and Phil Steele and was also a Ray Guy Award semi-finalist. He holds the USF career record for punts inside the 20 (73) and ranks second all-time in both career punts (197) and punting yards (8,277).
In his final season, Andrew averaged 45.4 yards per punt and landed 27 punts inside the 20, leading the conference. He also limited return yards to just 58 on the season. On top of that, Stokes' ability to deliver the ball downfield quickly and effectively under pressure was on display as he set a USF record with 197 consecutive punts without a block.
One of his more impressive performances came in the Hawai’i Bowl, where Andrew tied the USF record with a huge 72-yard punt and averaged 51.0 yards across seven punts, one of the best single-game performances in program history.
