“I should upgrade my car soon” Excited thoughts of the future cross my mind as I make my daily stroll the office; Tokyo sun bright in my eyes. Office life has been great recently, all the higher ups love my leadership over the team. Well all except one, but he announced his retirement not too long ago. No one who stands in the way of my genius ever lasts. Just like that idiot in marketing who dared to believe he could challenge my ideas just because he reads that worthless “fan feedback” all week. Last year was an utter humiliation for him, he hasn’t spoken a word to me since. Applause as I step into the office, a new video showcasing my work on the screen. Today must be the day they’re recognizing my greatness. My eyes hone in on the words written…what does that say? “Back to Basics”? That fool…not even a silly ploy like this could ever change my mind.

@Keenansthoughts I’d argue it’s because T8 rewards that kind of play, so naturally people will gravitate towards it. It’s more straightforward especially for newer players, or players that are new to the concept of solid fundamentals based play.

Unpopular opinion: Victor didn’t turn into "stance slop”. Players did. You can still play him like S1, solid, fundamentals-based and more fun even if it's harder to win. But people lean on stance 50/50s instead so now, ranked is flooded with that playstyle.

@TMask97 If the state scene is small, you have a big disadvantage to other scenes that have a bigger tekken population because there’s a chance for more variety and skill level. You’d be limited by your state essentially

@TMask97 Many factors, but you can end up frustrated if you wanna improve since you’re not being challenged because maybe the region isn’t serious like that or doesn’t lab.

@TMask97 It’d depend on the quality and overall power level of your state. Because if you at the top then you wouldn’t be able to challenge yourself to improve in quicker time. It’d be easy to fall into the trap of being comfortable and stay stagnant without realizing it if not aware.

"..we implemented adjustments aimed at maintaining each character’s individuality" Ah yes, Lili the backturned mixup char and Paul the stance cancelling mixup char and Alisa the rushdown char- girl bye You didn't maintain anything abt their individuality. You erased it.

A 91-year-old streamer became a social media star after beating a horror game without any guides Chinese gamer Yang Binglin, known as Game Grandpa, completed Resident Evil Requiem without using a single walkthrough. He streamed the entire playthrough and solved everything on his own. To keep track of details, he wrote everything down in a regular notebook. That’s how he worked through puzzles and navigated the game. He was previously listed in the Guinness World Records as the oldest gaming streamer. Before retirement, he worked as an engineer and only started gaming after 1996.

New Video: Did you know there is a secret homing mechanic in Tekken 8 that triggers only under specific circumstances? I wager most players, or even high Ranked players would not even have heard of something like this. But it has been around since at least Tekken 7.
