The main reason Arsenal lost is Mentality. It’s the same reason they lost at Wembley. It’s the same reason they lost years backs It’s the same reason Everyone thinks they will go trophyless. They crumble under pressure.
A.@ThisIsAgam

Possession means nothing if you can’t break the block. Southampton’s low block humiliated Arsenal in the FA Cup. Here's how: - Arteta’s side had the ball but they never truly imposed the game. Arsenal finished with 64% possession and 23 shots yet their xG was only 1.61 which is the clearest sign of plenty of circulation and not enough central penetration. - Southampton by contrast lived in a more compact low block where they absorbed pressure and turned the match into a contest of patience and discipline rather than possession vanity. - IP, Arsenal’s shape looked too easy to read. The circulation lacked enough positional rotation to break Southampton’s first and second lines so the ball spent long spells going around the block instead of through it. That meant the half spaces were underused, the central occupation was too thin and the overloads never became decisive overloads. - Southampton did not need to press wildly. They only needed to wait for the right pressing trigger, then spring into a pressing trap when Arsenal’s progression got predictable and narrow. - OOP, Arsenal were also exposed in the moments that really matter. The first goal came after a defensive lapse from Ben White and the winner arrived from a counter attack which tells you everything about the quality of Arsenal’s rest defense that too many players committed ahead of the ball, not enough security behind it and not enough compactness around the ball when transitions flipped against them. Southampton’s 2-1 win was the reward for a team that stayed structurally connected, defended its box with conviction and attacked the spaces Arsenal left open in transition. And that is the unforgiving truth of elite football: possession without control is just decoration. City fans know the difference immediately because the big sides do not merely keep the ball, they control zones, punish rotations and close transitions before they become danger. Arsenal were found wanting in exactly those details at St Mary’s and the trophy dream cracked right where the structure should have held. Football does not reward noise. It rewards control and on this night Arsenal had neither.

@SkillRemitgh @NoushardMUFC What are you even saying, do you watch the game or just come on X, play that game 10 times and Arsenal will win it 9 times, a game we completely dominated, facing a stubborn Everton side, and you want to use it to slate the team? Here is the match stat for you

@StrongerMP @NoushardMUFC It doesn't matter. Remember, it takes Dawman for Arsenal to score against Everton, and that's our last won game. If Raya had not be in his game, we would have lost the match. U don't rely on just luck to win trophy. U need to perform with confidence in attack.

Arsenal are 9 points clear… but the title race isn’t dead yet. Here’s the only realistic way they bottle it: •Man City win their game in hand → gap drops to 6 points •City beat Arsenal in their head-to-head → gap down to 3 points •Arsenal lose just one more game → level on points From there, it’s simple: If City stay perfect and Arsenal slip even once more, the title swings to City. It’s a very slim scenario… but football has seen crazier collapses and Arsenal has been there before.

@AnSweetLover @IslingtonMatt And when he wanted Raphina while Martinelli was still playing good, did we deliver him? What about Mudryk, did we deliver him too? Y'all kept shout that he wants to kill Saka with work load, tell me a better backup player than Madueke out there, that we would have signed

Not even joking. A decent manager wins minimum the treble this season. This manager will limp to one league title. Sums him up really Con artist.

When Henry criticized our style of play they said he’s jealous of Arteta, our greatest legend is jealous of the man who’s won fuck all for six years 🤣🤣😭 now everything Henry said is unfolding right before us. Arteta sexuals are the worst part of this fanbase. I hope they’re ready to go with he when he leaves

@ChiamakaAFC When was the last time you heard him criticize the team again? It is simple, you want the manager to win, but still want to tell him how to win it

@StrongerMP @carrill69o See yourself getting mad for no reason. You now want to redefine the term bottling too. Dont get personal with me coz it doesn’t work since you don’t know me. Keep it strictly banter and football

@NoushardMUFC @carrill69o So based on this your logic, which ever club finishes 2nd in the league have bottled the league, right? Please how many time has your club bottled it, using this your logic? Better don't cross the road with this brain or try raising a child with it

Yes they did... our defenders were lost, zero confidence in our keeper. No attacking strength and even forced to bring on our main guys which still didn't help why? NEGATIVE TACTICS. Educate yourself, you're a Nigerian Bot... you do not know ball. You're here purely for engagement numbers. Muted.

🚨 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: Theo Walcott believes Mikel Arteta's energy is negatively effecting the team and speaks out! 🗣️ "Visually watching Mikel on the sidelines, it was elements of previous years where that energy reflected into the team. It's nervous energy, it's very tense."
