Bayern Munich would, internally, be more inclined to move for Tino Livramento than Anthony Gordon from Newcastle United, as there is a growing recognition that the right-back position remains a structural weakness, one that is quietly limiting the team’s ceiling and could significantly elevate the entire system if upgraded with a top-level profile. Livramento is a name that has been on Bayern’s radar for years, internally highly rated, and further strengthened by his close relationship with Jamal Musiala, who has repeatedly encouraged the club to consider a move, the two sharing a genuine off-pitch bond and even spending time together during holidays, adding an extra layer to the appeal of the deal. However, Bayern’s current transfer strategy is clearly focused on securing key targets early and avoiding long, drawn-out sagas, which is why any negotiation with Newcastle United is internally viewed as low priority, given their reputation as difficult negotiators with high financial demands, making a concrete move for either Livramento or Gordon, at this stage, highly unlikely to materialise, with the situation around Anthony Gordon already outlined in my previous report.
