Statement on Leaderboard integrity. TL;DR: Don't share Steam accounts with others. And as a reminder, banned accounts can still play the game, they just can't post scores to our Leaderboards.

@justdanny I was clearly quoting a specific sentence in that tweet. Is reading comprehension hard?

@Submetry She was clearly addressing the claims that the cheater was using software other than reWASD because it was going around there were no input changes so it must’ve been different cheating software… Is reading comprehension hard?

"It is important that any accusation you make is supported by evidence" yooooo I wish I had the same treatment, would've been nice 😊😊
rin pinguefy@pinguefied

It is important that any accusation you make is supported by evidence. Obviously what she did is wrong and this post is not to dissuade people from digging further, it's a request to stop using gossip and vibes as your source and to help us actually get to the truth. This goes for both the discussion on the nature of her cheats and accusations levied towards other members of the community. Viscose and I compiled multiple examples of impossible aim, can explain why it's impossible and how it differs from her normal clips, and confronted her. Which is why we still don't think she was cheating for her montages prior to the three deleted ones. We've only found one thing we were confused by, which isn't enough to establish a pattern. That's why it's hard to make judgements on what kind of cheats she used. It's like how a good player with a chess engine is much harder to detect. As far as we know, there is still no proof she used something other than reWASD. People are pointing to the mnk binds in the video as proof of soft aim, but somebody in our discord found many artifacts of an overlay being used to mask the controller keybinds (you can see this in the attached vid). That would only be seen using a cheating method that emulates controller aim assist. This is an important distinction because it means the explanation in her apology is still plausible. This community has hundreds of thousands of people in it. In any competitive endeavor, this kind of thing happens. If you really care about the integrity of the communities you’re in, post evidence of foul play instead of just asserting the space is corrupt. Keep digging, find proof that confirms your suspicion, and make it known to us. Also, this has nothing to do with aim trainers or aim trainer players. She has 20 years of CoD experience and something like 40k hours in it, and about 500 in aim trainers. She hasn’t played aim trainers actively since over a year ago. Stop making this about your preexisting biases.

dropping out of school (with one of the reason being for video games) only to use aim assist on a game filled with people who have jobs and probably families is batshit insane
Raw Input@m_rawinput

MissColourz has been removed from Raw Input and banned from all related communities due to using aim assist on mnk in CoD for her three most recent posts. Viscose and I noticed her last post featured a few movements that we couldn’t really explain. We downloaded the post, went frame by frame, and found a bunch more of these inexplicable movements. We tried asking her casually about the most suspicious clip and to get the raw file, but in the morning, she deleted the post with the reasoning that “it flopped so i deleted it”. After we confronted her, we eventually got her to confess. We’re still not sure if it’s the full truth, but at this point it doesn’t matter. Cheats are cheats. Words cannot describe how thoughtless and selfish her actions were. Both towards us and the community as a whole. We put in thousands of hours and towards building something together and she didn’t even think about the repercussions for anybody other than herself. If you feel like it reflects badly on us, I hope you can see it from our perspective. From what we can tell this has only been going on for those three montages and she had built up years of confidence towards her legitimacy. It’s really hard to see a friend you’ve spoken to every day for a year as being capable of something like this. Plus, we are the ones with the most to lose, both in terms of career and our friendship, and we were still the first ones to bring it up. It also makes so little sense because her best friends and coworkers are literally the biggest aim nerds on the planet. It’s so disrespectful and she had zero foresight for what happens if she gets caught. Especially towards Viscose, who brought her into the space, gave her a platform there, shared a community, taught her so much about aim and offered her so many opportunities. It’s just insane to throw that all away for Twitter likes. We tried to tell her so many times that while she was a great CoD player, she was a wonderful entertainer too. She couldn’t see it, she kept feeling like her self worth was defined by the skill she had put so much time into. I promise you are worth more than what you’re known for or the things you’re good at, and placing that much of your self worth into a skill is a recipe for disaster. Even if you’re the best now, it won’t last forever. Keep your good friends close and never let them go. Just be careful of who you trust.
