@clarkewrkorange This is what our trade calculator says, adjusted for my exact league settings & my opinion of Hunter is watered down between 6 other creators on the site

This is the thing people are not understanding, regardless of what has been said the past few days. There was always the doubt/worry about Hunter's snap% on offense. For his 1 good fantasy game last year he had a snap% of 87. The 6 games prior, he averaged 62%
Substance D@SubstanceD3

From a fantasy perspective, this nuance is irrelevant. A part time WR is not worth much in fantasy, certainly not a high-end dynasty rookie pick. His value has cratered, and there is no amount of nuance that will rectify that.

Are you curious how important the various statistics that get cited often for WR prospects are? I put together a quick guide. Most Important QB Rating When Targeted Extremely Important Zone YPRR YPRR PFF Route Grade 1d/RR Important PPR points/game Man YPRR Catch % 1D % TD % PFF Zone Route Grade Important-ish PFF Man Route Grade Tgt/RR MTF/rec YAC/rec Who Cares Drop % Takeaways QBR and Zone YPRR are the kings of efficiency metrics, and it really isn't up for debate (although regular YPRR still matters a lot, too). Drop % is a hot topic of debate right now (especially with KC Concepcion this year) but it does not have any meaningful measurable relationship with fantasy points. It's important to understand that statistics like YAC/rec and MTF/rec matter when evaluating prospects but they should not be solely used to excuse away bad QBR/YPRR or to discredit WRs with good-to-elite QBR/YPRR. aDoT isn't included here, but I also looked at it and concluded that aDoTs on either extreme are bad (and aDoTs in between are preferred) but aDoT's correlation in small ranges seems to be more in line with YAC and MTF (important but not a strong predictor). I'm planning to expand this analysis to also include market share metrics (dominator, breakout age, etc). Disclaimers Pure Pearson Correlation (as seen here) is not the end-all be-all for proving out statistical relationships (my prospect models use more complex methodologies) but it's a good start for contextualizing discussion that you see on this site. The correlations shown below are between college career metrics and NFL metrics across a player's first 3 seasons. All FBS WRs since 2016 to play at least 8 games across their first 3 NFL seasons were included (roughly 260).

I gave every NFL GM their own AI Brain. These are their actual cognitive architectures — 32 completely unique mindprints. This powers BigBoardLab. Real psychology, trade behavior & scheme DNA. No more generic simulators. Which team’s mindprint feels most true to their GM? 👀

@DynastyOnion Yep, and note that I'm not endorsing his talent. This is simply a monetary issue, and that the 5th year option is likely worth the gamble.

@SubstanceD3 Yeah I'm thinking we are sleeping a bit on his draft stock. The in person draft invite is just more supporting evidence.

I've burned myself this way plenty of times before, but I think it's usually wise to bet against players making presumably terrible financial decisions. I'm sure there's a lot we don't know... but why is Ty Simpson turning down $6.5M NIL deals to be a second round pick?

@whoknowsvikes But he lets the ball go before he opens up full. Mechanics are still legit better. He can also throw with tempo. Loved the pick of McCarthy, but he was too much "all gas no brakes." Maybe JJ will learn, but he's not ready yet.

Name a restaurant that you can get a $20 steak and $100 steak at? It literally doesn't exist. If you're in a restaurant that has $100 steaks and you can't afford a 20% tip then you shouldn't be there. Most people that do spend that much on a steak know how to tip. Usually the difference in tab means 1 table is four or five people and another table is one person. It goes by the check. Who do you know that's going to sit alone by themselves eating $100 steak? Your post is silly because it's not based upon reality.

Percentages make no sense for tipping. I go to a restaurant and order a $20 steak. Guy at the table next to me orders a $100 steak. If I tip $5 I’m considered a great tipper, but he’s expected to tip at least $20. Why? The server literally did the same amount of work!

If you receive a counter offer that is simply unacceptable, the response is to either counter (ideally) or simply reject. In the case of a rejection, make a case in the chat that you are sending offers to other players. A rejection needn't be the end of the trade negotiations.

One of the biggest mistakes that dynasty managers make in trade season is letting person vendettas impact their interpretation of trade offers. Just ignore the noise and concentrate on the trades. Three years from now, you will not remember the petty nonsense. Promise.

@crossroadsffp @4thnfantasy He did more legit route-running later in the '26 season. He'll be drafted as a project and I'm eager to see what he can do at the next level.

Many underestimate Zachariah Branch, seeing him as just a short-yardage player. But his route-running at the combine and pro day revealed elite potential. He's poised to become a demon from the slot, capable of beating corners one-on-one. #NFLDraft #USC #GoDogs #fantasyfootball

ESPN’s Joe Buck, who has one year left on his contract, told @richarddeitsch that he wants to finish his career at ESPN: “If you reached through my computer screen right now and handed me a contract to continue my time at ESPN, I would sign it without even looking at it. I’ve loved every second of it, and I am hopeful that I’m at ESPN for the rest of my career. That’s as plain as I can say it and as honest as I can say it, and maybe it’s stupid of me to say. If something gets thrown at me and I have to shift, I’ll shift. But I would be hopeful to stay right where I am until I’m finished.” More: sportsbusinessjournal.com/Articles/2026/…
