We lost loved ones to atrocities perpetrated by both the Biafran and Nigerian militaries. There were massacres in different Niger Delta communities carried out by the Biafran army.We rarely talk about what Niger Deltans suffered at the hands of both the Biafran nd Nigerian forces.

Biafra was not only an Igbo story. I know many Efiks, Ibibio, many Ijaw, many Urhobos, many Itsekiri, many Iyalla, many Ogoja who lost loved ones to the war. It was something that happened to the whole region, and beyond. And Nigeria must PROPERLY reckon with its ghosts so that they can be properly buried.

The concept of a Nigerian woman asking for flowers is still funny to me. I’ll send fresh roses & lavender but yeah, what are you going to do with them after? Are you sure you don’t want a five liter bowl of Banga soup with imekpe instead?

I am not even angry with him, I mean, I have no reason to be; whatever sophistry he presents isn't my concern. This is why I am very intent on the next Nigerian president, we have become a global laughing stock, the face of fraud and duplicity and an easy scapegoat for dysfunction, and we have a president that is wicked, greedy, inaudible and senile while having no plan for actual leadership. Nigeria needs to work, I say this with unrelenting seriousness. because it will be hard to escape a stereotype, and that stereotype has to change for the better. We cannot continue to rely on individual successes at a global stage to change that perspective; it has to be done at the grassroots and governmental levels.

If you do not start from a point of truth and courage, you have a broken compass. What happened in Biafra was genocide, no ifs, no buts. I have always thought that as a (contrived) people, our cowardice is primeval and savage. The criminals who did this to millions of women, children and the defenseless are still alive as “statesmen.” The evil dead are immortalized in currency notes and their evil names adorn airports. I respect Pa Awolowo but I think he was not only wrong, he and Chief Anthony Enahoro are culpable in the genocide that was Biafra. I am not Igbo, not that it should matter, but I could tell you about what it meant to be caught in a war-zone (Benin City under the Biafran army occupation) at age 8, without your parents, tending to your six-year old brother while living in a two-room lean to of a distant relative. I could tell you that the terror lives with both of us to this day. Because war is hell. Yes. the Nigerian civil war is infinitely more complicated than any book I have ever read can script it. My parents’ ancestral land is part of my experience but not in terms of a formal education. It is quite possible that without a free primary education powered by Pa Awolowo’s vision, I would not be here today. It is also true that many Biafran children are not with us today because Pa Awolowo denied them that which he offered me so generously; food, water and life. That is the absolute truth and Pa Awolowo confirmed it in the God awful (yes, awful) interview that many proudly brandish all over the place. It is impossible to forget Biafra, but today, Nigeria is in a very bad place, on many levels. Those that ruined our country are still strutting about handing us gobs of malu droppings. In the meantime in medieval places like Aluu, youths are slaughtered and burnt alive for allegedly stealing phones. Nigeria’s retired crooks are on social media tweeting quotes from Mahatma Gandhi. I mean, how difficult is it to say that the forced starvation of children and women was wrong? READ: There was a Country: Baying at the ghost of Biafra xokigbo.com/2013/02/03/the…

All I'm begging is for a strict Maintenance culture to be implemented in all these. I don't want any degrading views in next 4 years. Abia State is either going full blown human development and civilisation or it will just be a dream. Let Abians collectively maintain these things.. public toilets in Rwanda is so clean that you wouldn't believe is actually a public toilet. O mmadụ ga eme ya. Funds to pay cleaners is more important than ever.

The toilets at International Textile market Ekeoha ABA are almost ready. Rhino Homes and Properties ltd is building standard. Abia State is not a joke, the system is working.

"Sometimes the jets dumped their deadly explosives on markets as surprised buyers and sellers dashed higgledy-piggledy. Sometimes the bombs detonated in houses. Sometimes it was cars trapped in traffic that were sprayed. In the aftermath, the cars became mangled metal, singed beyond recognition, the people in them charred to a horrid blackness. From our hiding spots, frozen with fright, we watched as the bombs tumbled from the sky, hideous metallic eggs shat by mammoth mindless birds." - Okey Ndibe, in the epic essay, My Biafran Eyes guernicamag.com/my_biafran_eye…

Did you know? Federal Government troops under Col. Gado Nasko fired the first artillery shots into Biafra on July 6, 1967, at Garkem, in present-day Cross River State. That ignited the Biafran War.

During the Biafra War, hunger became as deadly as bullets. Food was so scarce that thousands of children slowly starved. Mothers carried their weak children from village to village searching for food, but many arrived too late.

If you want me to mentor you... don't miss this.. My 1-on-1 starts at ₦300k. Depending on your level, it goes higher. People pay it because it's worth it.. But not everyone can get there yet, and I've been watching people figure this out alone. YouTube. ChatGPT. Wrong order of learning. Zeal that dies by week 3. No mentor to tell them if they're even doing it right. I was there too.. so I understand.. And it's not a skill problem, trust me it's an access problem.. So to those who indicated interest.. I have opened up something.. The AI Automation Launchpad — Cohort 1.0. Small group. June. We learn from scratch, build real systems together — Voice Agents, RAG Chatbots, Lead Gen Pipelines, Business workflows.. The kind of work you can show a client and charge for immediately.. The cohort is ₦70,000. But I'm giving the first 20 people ₦50,000.. Not because I need to. Because the people who move fast are usually the ones who actually do the work, and those are exactly who I want in the room.. 20 slots. When they're gone, they're gone.. If you've been watching and waiting for the right time, this is it.. Link in the comments..

I mostly hold private mentorships on AI Automation..simply because l prefer it. (I pay for 1on1 these days too cause it's convenient..) but not many people can afford it ..so I'm going to be holding a mentorship with a small group in June limited slot.. interested?

We Remember Our Fallen Heroes Today. Dear Igbo Nation, today marks 56 years since we tragically lost over 4.5 million Igbo brothers and sisters to the Nigerian–Biafran War. They gallantly fought and died so that we might live. 🕊️ Let's Retweet in their memory. 🙏
