If you work for or volunteer with an organisation that supports asylum seekers who have been failed by the Home Office (and sometimes by lawyers), this will help you and those you work for to have a better understanding of what a ‘fresh claim’ is. Read the thread

It will examine the ways in which a new asylum claim can be supported with other evidence regarding a person’s human rights such as their family life, length of residence and/or their health 3/3

This session looks at identifying why the first (or subsequent) applications were refused by the Home Office, why the Tribunal dismissed the appeal (if there was one) and what is ‘new evidence’. It also looks at the document which the Home Office require people to complete 2/3
