Military airstrikes eliminate scores of ISWAP terrorists in Borno operations By: Zagazola Makama Precision air interdiction missions conducted by the Nigerian Air Force component of Operation HADIN KAI have eliminated scores of ISWAP terrorists in separate coordinated strikes at Kangarwa and Ali Jilamari areas of the Northern Tumbuns in Borno State. Military sources told Zagazola Makama that the operations were executed on April 1, following credible intelligence and confirmatory Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions. The source said the first strike was carried out at about 12:05 p.m. on ISWAP enclaves in Kangarwa, a known terrorist stronghold, after ISR conducted on March 27 confirmed mass movement of fighters within the location. According to him, airborne surveillance identified multiple terrorists operating around and inside structures within the enclave before precision munitions were delivered in successive attack passes. He said the targeted structures were completely destroyed, with scores terrorists neutralised in the strike, while others scampered for safety in different direction. In a separate operation at about 4:45 p.m. the same day, the air component conducted another interdiction mission at Ali Jilamari, described as a newly established terrorist hideout in the Northern Tumbuns. The source said the mission followed credible human intelligence and ISR confirmation, which revealed active terrorist logistics hubs and structures within the area. He added that the air platforms engaged the targets with precision strikes, destroying identified structures and logistics hubs while eliminating additional terrorists. The source described the operations as part of sustained air offensives aimed at degrading terrorist capabilities and denying them freedom of movement in the Lake Chad Basin.

Nafiu dragged David Mark to the Federal High Court, seeking an ex parte order. The judge didn’t grant it outright, instead, he asked Mark to come and show cause why the request shouldn’t be approved. Rather than argue it there, Mark went to the Court of Appeal. The appellate court was clear: go back to the Federal High Court and argue your case. More importantly, the Court of Appeal cautioned Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) not to take any action that could render the pending suit useless. In simple terms "dont recognize anybody". No Mark. No Nafiu. No faction. Until the court settles the leadership tussle, there is officially no recognized leadership. INEC didn’t pick sides; they simply obeyed the court.

If you have eyes, use them. The reconstruction of the Ibadan–Ilesa/Ife Federal Highway is not a promise, it is happening in real time. Reinforced concrete. Visible progress. Movement on ground. This is not your usual “we will do” politics. This is work. This road links Osun, Oyo, and Ondo. That is commerce, that is mobility, that is economic oxygen for the Southwest. But of course, some people will still sit comfortably on their phones, allergic to facts, pretending nothing is happening. You people don’t like good news. You only wake up when there is chaos to amplify. Progress irritates you because it exposes your bias and your refusal to be honest. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Engr. David Umahi are laying down infrastructure that will outlive noise, propaganda, and selective outrage. This is not vibes. This is governance. Cry if you want. The road will still be completed.

This News was June 2020, that was two year before the Presidential election and two years before Tinubu declared for the Presidential race in APC..... It won't be out of place to conclude that whatever crisis happened especially in Lagos as the main target in year 2020 had some powerful people within APC targeting Tinubu also.... Yes, those innocent ones within APC that eventually declared interest in APC Presidential primaries cannot be ruled out of the game.... Well, the game is the game, only that Asiwaju was way ahead!

Nigeria has recorded a milestone in its oil exports with its first-ever shipment of Cawthorne crude to India, marking a strategic move to diversify crude grades and expand export destinations. The maiden cargo, estimated at 950,000 barrels, was lifted from the Niger Delta and delivered to Indian refiners seeking more flexible crude options. The development strengthens Nigeria’s position in the global oil market, particularly within the Atlantic Basin, while deepening trade ties with India—one of the world’s largest crude importers. It also reflects ongoing efforts to boost oil revenues, optimize existing assets, and introduce new crude blends, with potential for sustained exports depending on market demand and production stability.

ICYMI in 2020: The All Progressives Congress has confirmed that it will respect the decision of the Court suspending Adams Oshiomhole as the party’s nat'l chairman. Acting Nat'l Sec. of APC, Victor Giadom, told newsmen at the party's nat'l secretariat that APC is a law abiding party.... ADC has no thinking leaders to think through crisis management....

Egbon, this your take is not entirely true. This is a competition, everyone should use whatever strategy possible within the law. I won’t let down my guard just to appease anyone. Success requires strategic determination. This is the most prepared President in the history of Nigeria!

Tinubu had advised last year that the opposition political parties should put their houses in order... He added that he would not help them to do so... He dropped a motivational and an emotional message along that "he would be glad to see them in such disarray" if they fail to put their houses in order...( emphasis mine) According to Napoleon Bonaparte "Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake." It is a principle of strategic patience, implying that one should allow an opponent to continue with an error that will ultimately lead to their own downfall, rather than interfering. In context, it suggests that watching an enemy struggle due to their own pride, ignorance, or fury is more effective than interrupting them. Did we expect APC or Tinubu to , in the name of ensuring there are opposition political parties to contest against him in 2027, call them and tell them how they can manage their internal wranglings and disaffections? That blackmail won't work. They should continue to ask how the only man standing in 2003 with the Alliance for Democracy, fought hard to the top and clinched the presidency against all odds, even though he contested once for the Presidency... While his own political party, APC didn't want him and the Northern Nigeria and South South would prefer a Northern man Atiku to return to power immediately after Buhari a Northern man just ended his tenure. The APC members from South Eastern Nigeria wanted Lawan, the then Senate President. We should stop blaming Tinubu... Couples Should not consistently blame the failure in their marriages to their Neighbors.

Can you pleaae respect the intelligence of those who are not your gullible followers by explaining in specific terms how exactly Tinubu is responsible for this??? They will continue to be in dissaray for as long as they keep failing to take responsibility for their own failures, and for as long as they have disgruntled people like you helping them to make excuses for failure. It was Tinubu that sent Atiku out of PDP. It was Tinubu who sent Peter Obi from Labour. It was Tinubu who forced David Mark and co to hijack the ADC. It was Tiinubu who asked David Mark to file an appeal case and lose it. And If there was no leadership crisis in ADC, why did David Mark file an appeal and lost it???? Bunch of clowns who do not want to put in the work. They will always blame others for their own failure.

Truly disappointed that y’all are making the same fundamental mistakes with ADC. How can the NWC that resigned enmass appoint an interim chairman? Doesn’t an appointment come AFTER the resignation (not before it)? What power do they have to appoint him AFTER they resigned?
