Showrunner Ashley Edens on the decision not to include the original cast in the ‘Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special’: “If maybe we had a two-hour special, there would have been room, but I really think this is about Miley and her experience and I hope that comes across in the special. the amount of complaints i’m seeing about the hannah special... she literally could’ve done nothing but she performed several hannah songs, did an interview, brought back the sets from the show, and made a new song. and fans got to go to both the special and premiere FOR FREE.
