🚨 TIME CHANGE: 10:00am 🚨
A forthcoming court ruling at approx. 9am tomorrow — sparked by Tafsik's attempt to block the Palestinian flag-raising — has shifted the anticipated start time to 10am. The City of Toronto, ICJP Canada and NCCM are challenging the injunction motion.

Toronto Palestine Film Festival organizer Dania Majid says that Toronto Councillor Diane Saxe attempted to deny a permit for its annual outdoor film screening just ten days before tonight’s event.
@TPFF has hosted this event every summer since 2010.

Exactly this. It’s not just the abject racism and denigration of Palestinian life, it’s the demand for care and for the perpetrators and supporters of genocide so they feel safe and supported. What a travesty.

According to the latest official report, at least 45 writers and artists had been killed in Gaza since Oct. 7, and 32 cultural centres and 12 museums had been destroyed.
The actual toll is believed to be far higher.
