Apologies for the wait since my last update!~ I got some time to myself during the holidays, while slowly but surely chipping away at making the experience as neat as possible. I want this little project of mine to be as good as it can be, even if it takes time to polish 💚

As surprising as that may sound, I actually consider myself to be somewhere on the asexual spectrum, though I won't go into much detail because this is obviously quite personal and not fit for an account like this hehe! I like experimenting with different pronouns, and having them displayed directly in my bio does serve as an indicator for queer peeps that I'm safe to interact with! A lot of my friends are queer, and being yourself as openly as you can is the coolest thing ever 💚

Hmm...This year I've played through Resident Evil 7, which was great, Katamari Demacy was a lot of fun, and No Players Online was great too! As for my all time faves, I'd say, completly unordered, Demon's Souls (PS3), Deltarune, Terraria, The Beginner's Guide, Celeste, Dark Souls 1, and Balatro I'm also a huge fan of rhythm games (though there aren't any nice arcades nearby!!), so I've got hundreds of hours across dozens of them.. Some of my faves are osu!, ADOFAI, Cytus, Estella, Maimai, and Beat Saber :3c

Right, so where's the game? I currently have a game that one could call finished, in a purely functional sense. It functions, it does what it's meant to do, and it's somewhat of a good time. The issue is that I have run into is that I've been having trouble making this actually interesting, it feels like it's missing more to be actually worthwhile, and I wouldn't be happy releasing something just for the sake of it. I could say it's to respect your time and money, but I've never really cared about both of these *that* much :3c, I just am someone who wants to make things that are actually special and/or interesting, and so far the game is none of that. I want to do my best to truly make it good before it's released, I want to find a spark that makes it more than just the sum of its parts, and I don't want to release something that just serves as a quick, dull jack-off session...

Hi! I'm in my early 20s, and I've been programming pretty much ever since I was a kid! I originally gained interest in computers through modding and console homebrew, and I've loved working on tons of computer related stuff ever since. I did major into Computer Science after high school, but I don't think it really helped me or taught me much I didn't already know from working on various projects for over a decade or so... Though it did help navigate low level programming a lot better than I did before. I'm really not a huge fan of vibecoding (not a big fan of most Gen AI in general), though I do think LLMs have useful applications professionally, I generally try to keep it out of personal projects. To answer your question about techdom, if it was for the money, I'd be more active for sure hehe~

The server got deleted because I just didn't have it in me to spend time and effort moderating a community, anyone who's had to do it before knows how exhausting it gets hehe In general, I've come to realize I'm not a big fan of Discord servers for a variety of reasons 💚

To add onto that, I also think people are much less likely to install malicious apps on their phone than on a laptop/desktop. Your phone has direct access to every friend and family member of yours in a single click, and that makes it much more scary to install techdom stuff on.

(Warning, I'm gonna be really elaborate in my answers and most likely talk about a bunch of nerdy stuff!) I do really like the idea of making some kind of app! The problem with making something like this is that the userbase is much smaller and harder to "profit" from. You have to exclude iOS users, which means that a ton of people don't get to try it out, especially American peeps, where iOS absolutely dominates any Android device. People that ask for an Android app also tend to not have access to a computer, which means they very likely don't have the means to spend disposable income on stuff like this, so you are nearly guaranteed to not make as much money for something that is really high effort compared to a Windows program where the barrier of entry for creation is a lot lower. I dunno, maybe I'll explore this avenue someday, but it's not something within my skills or something that I'm really interested in currently!

Pretty sweet! I've always wished there was a centralized platform for sharing techdom stuff, it's all scattered across dozens of discords, tweets, and whatever, so it's as much of a pain for subs to find new stuff, as it is for creators to share their work.. I also think it'd be nice having a README that credits every single creator involved
