Nvidia defending DLSS 5 by saying it's applied pre not post frames but I kinda wish it was applying it to the frames. Add it at driver level and we can toggle original / re-mastered visuals on any game? hell yeah.

Not sure if I'm just super smart or the puzzles in the Resident Evil Remake games are just super easy, but I havent had to Google a solution to a puzzle once so far. As someone that usually sucks at puzzle games I do think they are done quite well in the RE games.

@mpr_reviews @PaulTassi Game reviews are pretty dumb anyway because games are subjective. I love many games that "reviewers" slate, I usually use this as a way of deciding what I should actually buy.

There's a saying that goes: You can't please everyone. I think for game reviewers that should read: You cant please ANYone. Crimson Desert sits at 78 on MC, and people screaming it needs to be higher. @PaulTassi scores it a 9.5 and people accuse him of it being a paid review. I really dont care about review scores and I'll be playing the game to form my own opinion. More people should do the same. The 2 hour refund window on Steam is there for this exact reason.

You know YouTube will automatically detect content, even in parts that's a copy and will report it to you so you can decide if you want to claim it etc... @elonmusk could do this here and you could claim any revenue they make on ripping your stuff, that would stop it pretty quickly.

Honest question: What does it matter whether Xbox Helix is called a PC or a console? I have to be missing something here.

Question for the iPhone crew. Have you noticed the macro capability has gotten worse since the iPhone 15. With the iPhone 15 pro max I was able to get some fantastic macro shots (pics for reference) but with the 16 and especially now the 17 they seem to be much softer and a much more of a narrow focal point which excessively blurs the image borders.

@TechLab_UK @1stPlayerz @DVADigital323 A lot of people isn't everyone. I also don't really think it's fair to say the hate is fake because people don't like what they're pushing. If the AI was this bad at doing what it's supposed to be doing right now they shouldn't have shown it if they didn't want pushback.

I don’t get why so many people are hating on DLSS 5. We all knew it was coming and while others were calling it out during the technologies faking revolutions and frames the same people complaining now were telling them to shut up. I’m guessing it’s just because it’s the current hate trend?

@TechLab_UK @DVADigital323 sadly you are correct good thing I'm an old man and at some point I'll walk away and tune out and enjoy my golden years playing decades of backlog CRPGs RPGs and JRPGs and let modern gaming burn while I sip prune juice and collect pension and complain about rock music

A lot of people say they don’t like it but still throw money at them and when it comes to creators they are moaning now because it’s pulling the clicks in, later it will be the best thing since sliced bread. Just a lot of people creating fake hate across the community making it even more toxic than it already is for cred.

Weirdly enough always tend to find myself on the other side of the current trend. - Hogwarts Legacy was a great game. - Remakes are awesome tbh - Nvidia is alright, they make great graphics cards. Sometimes I do wonder though if these algorithms are purposely finding people who will disagree because often you make a pretty obviously like / dislike for something and suddenly a billion people know you made it after spending years with no one seeing anything else you post about.

I don’t take Twitter seriously at all. Twitter: Boycott Hogwarts Legacy IRL: one of the best selling games that year Twitter: I hate Remakes Remakes always sell amazingly well, and generate a lot of hype Twitter: Nvidia is bad IRL: Like 80% of the market use them lol

Now if DLSS 5 can hide this then Nvidia might be onto a winner 🤣
