EndSARS started when Yahoo boys got tired of settling policemen in the SouthSouth. Even their girlfriends came out to protest. Then the protest was moved to Lagos. Yahoo boys heavily sponsored the protest. Governor Sanwo-olu came, took their request to Abuja and got their 5 for 5 request approved. Immediately he came back, they change it from EndSARS to EndBadGovt. That was when people realized the protest wasn't about SARS anymore.

Ikate is seriously growing and benefiting from its proximity to Lekki Phase 1, and it is so beautiful to see. The amount of real estate and business expansion in this corridor is insane. I thought you people said there is no money in Nigeria,so which money are you people using to build all these? 🤔🤕🤣 But then again, on a more serious note, this buttresses my point on why I don’t think the Eti-Osa chairwoman is the right pick for such a prominent LGA. She unfortunately can’t keep up with all these. It doesn’t make sense that Surulere, Ifako, Ebute Metta, Kosofe, Agege,Omole,Magodo etc., are investing heavily in maintaining their environment, while such an important LGA faces broken drainage issues and 24/7 flooding in some streets. I am seriously hoping she proves me wrong. However, if you are a business owner, property developer, or even a resident in this axis, I think you should try to join your estate associations and go pay a visit to the governor to see what can be urgently done about the affected drainages in this area. I think the state government needs to step in. There are very gory pictures of flooded streets that I just don’t want to post, but an ordinary drainage rehabilitation will really solve it. Take advantage of your association and liaise with the government to fix your drainages,it will make things better for you and insane property appreciation. The government is more than ready to listen.
