Yes, there's steady progress in NJ. Lower Raritan Watershed Partnership volunteers run ongoing cleanups, pulling dozens of non-biodegradable Ganesha idols/pots from the Raritan and local streams yearly (as in those pics). Hindu temples, puja shops (e.g., Edison/Scotch Plains), and communities have shifted heavily to biodegradable shaadu matti clay idols, permitted temporary immersions on designated sites, and reuse programs—backed by awareness drives that engaged local youth. Many now avoid plaster/painted synthetics entirely. Legacy mess is still being cleared in spots, but illegal small-event dumping continues sporadically due to enforcement challenges. Full resolution needs sustained education.

This is an abomination. Demon worship does not belong anywhere in Texas.

It's illegal under the federal Clean Water Act to discharge non-biodegradable waste (like plaster-of-Paris or painted synthetics) into public waterways without permits. It happens in NJ because some smaller home/temple Ganesh Chaturthi events use cheap mass-produced idols and ritual pots that don't dissolve—people dump them illegally in rivers like the Raritan instead of using proper disposal. Enforcement is spotty: anonymous acts are hard to catch, and broad crackdowns risk clashing with religious freedom protections (1st Amendment accommodations apply, but pollution laws don't exempt anyone). What's being done: Lower Raritan Watershed Partnership + volunteers regularly pull dozens from area waters (exactly as in those pics). Hindu temples/communities now push biodegradable natural clay idols, secure permits for temporary designated immersions, reuse or recycle, and run awareness campaigns to cut pollution. Many have switched practices statewide.

This happens because some smaller Hindu celebrations in NJ use cheap mass-produced idols made of plaster of Paris or painted synthetics (not natural clay). These don't dissolve and get illegally dumped in public waters like the Raritan River, violating the federal Clean Water Act (no unpermitted discharges allowed). Lower Raritan Watershed Partnership and local clean-up crews regularly pull dozens of them from area rivers and lakes, as shown in those pics. Enforcement is spotty—hard to catch individuals, and religious freedom laws limit broad crackdowns. What's being done: Many NJ Hindu temples and groups now secure permits for temporary designated immersions, reuse idols yearly, or switch to fully biodegradable clay/natural ones that dissolve cleanly or get planted. Environmental and community leaders run awareness campaigns pushing eco-friendly alternatives to cut pollution. The Texas ranch event followed these best practices on private permitted land.

These NJ pics show small colorful Ganesha idols + ritual pots pulled from public waterways. Unlike the single large natural clay idol immersed on private permitted land in the Texas ranch event, some smaller mass-produced versions use plaster, paint, or synthetics that don't dissolve cleanly and can leave debris. US law restricts non-biodegradable dumping in public waters (environmental regs apply regardless of faith). Many Hindu groups now require fully clay/natural idols to avoid this.

The video from this event shows one large traditional clay Ganesha idol being immersed by volunteers in a dedicated private lake feature at Indian Trails Ranch (Princeton, TX)—not multiple small idols or any public waterway. It was a permitted religious ceremony by the Princeton Sanatana Dharma Foundation on private land. Clay idols dissolve gradually over hours/days (not instantly like melting ice), using natural materials that leave no toxic pollution. No reports of illegal public dumping for this event.

Project for Immigration Reform
During Trump’s first term, there was an effort by the Indian ethnic lobby to advance a bill aimed at eliminating country cap quotas for employment-based green cards. The primary opposition came from Iranians, who opposed the bill. In response, the Indian ethnic lobby became hostile, resorting to harassment and doxxing any Iranians who appeared on Capitol Hill to speak against the bill. But, of course, they’re “friends” now.
Neda S@NedaSa_

Welcome to the club, my Indian and Chinese friends! Iranians professionals and scholars have been stuck in an indefinite #USCISpause since December—losing jobs, health coverage, and legal stability…. What’s happening to one group today can happen to others tomorrow. it’s part of a larger effort to shut down legal immigration!! We need unity now more than ever.

Today’s The Des Moines Register article on Iowa’s slowing population growth underscores why immigration is so important to Iowa’s and the USA’s 🇺🇸 future. Immigrants are the backbone of the economy and key to the innovation that allows us to compete against much higher population countries like China 🇨🇳 and India 🇮🇳. Immigration impacts economic growth. Immigration supports affordable food, affordable housing and our service economy. Immigration needs to be orderly, legal and well regulated. As your State Treasurer, I’ll advocate for policies that deliver a strong economy for Iowans and the great state of Iowa! "Why do Indians come to the US?" > To replace white men. > To take over America’s tech and med world > To save white women from mediocre white culture. > To end global white dominance. > To spread Aryan dharma. > To save humanity

Indians come to the US to get rich 💰 It’s not Indians who leave India. It’s American companies that beg Indians to come to the US because Americans are lazy and incompetent, and Indians are smart and hardworking. Without immigrants, the US would be just a third-world country!

"Eliminating the white population"? Europe is literally ~85-90% white. Meanwhile, the U.S. is ~58% white (71% if you include White Hispanics). It's so strange to see Americans obsessed with the ethnic makeup of a continent that is vastly more homogenous than our own. Especially when the same people who obsess over this usually are the same people who want the United States to leave NATO. Why do they care so much about Europe's demographics if they don't even think Europe is worth defending?
Taya Bass@travelingflying

Tucker Carlson: "There is a very well organized, very well funded effort to eliminate the White population of Europe. Who is pushing this?" Any guesses?
