@TestMatchJosh The vast majority of players in our league are right sided.
Therefore majority of strikers will have a right foot.
Being able to deal with that is increased by a balance for the centre back (especially on the left) to be able to make tackles on the strikers stongest side.

This whole needing to play a left foot player at LCB is an absolute myth btw. Literally makes no difference what footed you are when you play in the middle of the pitch. Most teams have 2 RF CBS
If this is so vital why don’t he play a left foot CM as well?

I disagree with the “champ experience”. Beadle, Allsopp, Robinson, Laird, Bright, Roberts, Doyle have all had 2+ years playing in the champ. Who do we want to bring in? Chris Martin and Albert Adomah?🤣
