He was sworn in on the Quran, and CAIR-Florida publicly praised him as one of their own, writing: “From the legislature to the bench, he’s stood for justice and with CAIR-Florida in critical moments.” CAIR-Florida’s Deputy Executive Director at the time, Hiba Rahim, posted from the courthouse calling the event emotional and packed with supporters, while offering prayers for him to remain “steadfast” and “guided.” They didn’t stop there. They made it clear this was just the beginning, stating: “We actually now have a judge… and he will not be the last.” CRITICAL QUESTION FLORIDA: Florida has designated CAIR as a terrorist-linked organization and is actively fighting them in court.
