...completely silent (without any additional noise and other stuff) since both are completely identical tracks. note that the DM13 will add ~0.0136 milliseconds (~6 samples) to the beginning of the track so it should not be affecting the rest of the track

...so how did i compare it? well, i used DM13's ripping feature to extract the first track and compared it to a direct copy (by extracting it via a drive with isobuster). then i dragged 2 files, aligned both tracks closely and invert the directly copied version. it should be...

meanwhile am still testing DM13: - figured out how the CD ripping feature works. compared to a direct rip with audacity and yes, it is indeed a bit-perfect copy - HTOA does not play as expected although the rewind button revealed a small chunk of the hidden track

man, why is fiio dm13 THAT stable on reading heavily scratched discs? i found a heavily scratched children's CD i had in my childhood in a bunch of old discs and think "hmm why not try it with the player" and it's now 30 minutes in and it reads smoothly w/ minimal clicking sounds
