@TimelessTuber @KreekCraft What's stopping people from just doing the exact same thing with Dynamic Faces? Only way I see/know of Roblox being able to stop that is to not allow people to upload any kind of face at all, which cuts off a lot of UGC creators' income.

@KreekCraft @KreekCraft, you’ve said there’s no good reason to remove faces. Here’s why I think they did it. There is way too many issues with the catalog, especially with NSFW and copyrighted content. This’ll make Roblox presenting to the media, parents, etc. Faces are easier to remove.

@Elyrium42 @KreekCraft Seems I need more explanation. You see it’s much harder to animate a Roblox face than to just draw one. This leads to a lot of bad people breaking the TOS and ruining everything. and because Roblox has shit moderators, they’ve decided to just remove classic faces entirely

It takes much longer time than just slapping up a PNG image. so while it won’t stop it, it will at least slow it down. Again I’m not a fan of this update. I’m just trying to figure out why they did it.

I was trying to get myself to their perspective. Why would they do this? And what I wrote was the closest thing I could think of

@gruss2026 @KreekCraft That’s a good question and I actually thought about it. The reason why they would still do it is because animating a face is much harder than uploading a PNG image. To Roblox’s eyes, they are being sued left and right. they’re trying to do anything to make themselves seem safe.
