Class 1 fourth ranked Sweet Springs (6-1) Softball Team travels to Class 2 top ranked Skyline (5-0) tonight for a big non-conference matchup at Ballparks National Fields in Mack’s Creek at 5:00.

Tavion Banks (Ruskin HS) -- 20 points Bennett Stirtz (Liberty HS) -- 14 points Cam Manyawu (Staley HS) -- 6 points Kael Combs (Nixa HS) -- 6 points Missouri HS/NW Missouri ST/Drake/Iowa .. Sweet 16.

Sweet Springs Softball starts the year winning 3/4games in the Purdy Tournament this weekend. Lady Hounds knock off Sarcoxie, Lamar and Concordia to finish 5th place finish in the 16 team tournament. Hound Baseball splits 2 games with Stover and Northwest to begin their season

Sweet Spring Basketball split a doubleheader with St. Paul tonight at home. The Lady Hounds win 39-36 while the Hound Boys drop a 78-56 decision. Both teams will be back in action on Tuesday at Crest Ridge and Lawson on Thursday to finish out the regular season.
