It is entirely within China's sovereignty to standardize the names of some places in Zangnan region, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun said on Tuesday when asked to comment on Indian Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson on Sunday rejected China’s action, claiming that such a move undermines efforts to stabilize ties between the two countries, following China’s release on April 10 of the sixth batch of standardized names in the Zangnan region.
