EDUCATION He earned a degree in Business Administration from Portland State University. He holds the rigorous Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. FINANCIAL CAREER He began working in the banking industry in 1975 as a bank teller, eventually working in the 1980s as an import/export document examiner in the international department of a bank in Portland, Oregon. He transitioned to the credit union field, where he held titles such as assistant manager and vice president of investments. He achieved the role of CEO of the Air Force Credit Union at Lackland Air Force Base, serving in that position for seven years. He spent the final 12 years of his professional career as a financial analyst for a corporation in San Antonio, Texas, where he handled investment analysis, corporate acquisitions, and complex insurance renewals. He retired from this career in 2019. MUFON LEADERSHIP Becoming active in the UFO field around 1990, he passed the field investigator's exam and eventually became the state section director and leader of the local MUFON group in San Antonio. He was invited to join the MUFON Board of Directors in 1994/1995, where he served for over two decades through the administrations of multiple executive directors. He served as treasurer on the MUFON business board, assisting the organization with strategic planning, administrative matters, and long-term issues. MJ-12 RESEARCH AND AUTHORSHIP In retirement, he has dedicated himself to a major research study and upcoming book on the history of the MJ-12 affair and the relationship between UFOs and the national security state. He has authored several research papers on the topic, publishing them on his blog.
