@hongcl67 KK, W corp and heishou. He seems to have gotten to a high position from sheer grit and willpower. I think most other sinners by now have had a 'leader' type id of some faction. The only related thing for Heath would be Wild Hunt forcefully making corpses into minions.

@TomTwoot True! Ive thought about this before, it's why I was so intrigued by him becoming an adept heishou, but he doesn't really show any leaderlike qualities and says himself he was just the one who survived the longest and got the strongest essentially

After c6, every Heathcliff id is either actively exploited by the city or has a notable lack of direction/joy in life. It's a shame (albeit predictable) that Cathy thought erasing herself would allow Heathcliff to finally be happy in life, but that not be the case

@hongcl67 Oh yea I definitely agree. I just thought you were making a pre and post canto 6 distinction of ids, but personally i think most heath ids just fall in the trap of being too trusting of others, or abandoning everyone outright. He is never the one exploiting anyone (minus wh)

@TomTwoot and that he gets caught up in the city's whims like any other. I hate the idea of ids being divided into good and bad and find that very redundant, all of the ones after c6 discuss one of those two themes I mentioned. That is all.

@hongcl67 Yea, point being most if not arguably all heathcliff IDs sadly are aimless in life, getting dragged into exploitative scenarios and being taken advantage off, whether cathy is in the picture or not.

@TomTwoot They were released before c6.

@hongcl67 Point taken, but i dont see how R corp heath, N corp heath, Sunshower heath, Pequod heath, Shi heath, oufi heath and multicrack heath wouldnt be in that same exact boat. (7 heath is like the sole exception i can think of the top of my head).

@TomTwoot And well.. Youcliff living the 'same' miserable life as every heishou is probably why he got one as an ID. Even then, he outright says it, the rooster branch are far more expendable than others. Take this line too, he says it himself.

@hongcl67 Wuthering Heights is a story about tragedy and exploitative and conditional toxic love. Cathy is quite literally what shackles and binds him down. After c6 Heath is liberated, this results in both good and bad IDs just like any other sinner.

@hongcl67 Heath actively wanting to put himself in a coffin just for cathy to care about him. Or the analogy of her being hisnumbrella between the Sunshower and Wild Hunt upty story is quite telling...
