Some people, over on my YouTube channel, are suggesting that I don’t understand the system of voice commands on my Tesla. I do, it’s just that I feel a total berk talking to my car. Even when I’m alone. Anyone else?

@Knight21st I am pretty good at the Highway Code having been on numerous advanced driving courses for work, but I only learned this on a recent speed awareness course (34 in a 30).

Do people not realise that most vans can only go 50 on a 60 road? I drive a work van that is tracked and driving is scored. I can’t speed. I can however drive even slower the closer you get to my bumper.

@The_East_End That is genuinely so interesting. I grew up in Essex (near Basildon) & West ‘Am was probably our closest big team (excluding Southend). Lots of school mates supported them. Amongst them Dennis Lepine.

How many die hard West Ham United fans know about the origin of their club? From the early days as Thames Ironworks, this newspaper article from C1934 makes interesting reading… #eastend #WHUFC #westham

@grayheath56 In my opinion that is how all dashboards should look. Proper switches,no stupid touchscreen, and just the stuff you need to drive your car. Lovely.

Nice & sunny outside but very frosty! Hoping to finish my work week at 5pm after a quiet uneventful dull boring day in front of the laptop. I would be quite happy with that. I hope everyone has the best day they can 🙂

@bagshaw2112 😂😂😂😂😂😂 it’s hard to equate that difference. Mind you when I first started driving in 1979 I’m pretty sure a gallon of 3 star was about 35p vs about £8 now! Pint of beer was around that price too! Mind you I used to get £9 for a day’s work back then.

@jamesxwilkinson @ronmanagernottm Yeah, like I said, back then the bodywork was the limiting factor. I had a mate who’s dad did bodywork repairs and welded etc. He kept loads of old motors on the road using the “Trigger’s broom” philosophy 😂

@TonyPOCTesting @ronmanagernottm Dad was an engineer and did stuff like changing a clutch in the garage. What couldn't he fix? Rust, which consigned at least 3 mechanically sound cars to the scrapyard.

@acnewsitics @RichardBowler1 Actual goal was distraction from Epstein files and a crafty way to make money by manipulating oil prices IMO

@ClassicAdvertz 3M Scotch VHS tapes. I worked for their Healthcare division in the early 90s and these ads were still broadcast then.

@SheilaHarries @ronmanagernottm I have a 10 year old Hyundai i30 and the front lights are remarkably accessible but the rear light cluster is a bit of a Krypton Factor test. I refuse to pay for fitting if I can. Useful tips are available on YouTube but also some poor advice.
