@Stegsythedog That's awesome to hear. Wiltshire are pretty good with what they take, but it's also great to have Terracycle filling in some of the gaps and it raises money for charity too.

Don't forget you can take so many things to recycle though this scheme. There are plenty of drop-off points around Salisbury. The money raised goes to Medic4Medic.

Woodland regeneration at a site I manage in the Chilterns. Holly, beech, hornbeam, birch, ash, elder, hawthorn all coming up through a protective layer of bramble. Paths cut through the undergrowth & some bramble cut periodically each winter.

Portugal has become the first European country to reduce VAT on bicycles (including e-bikes & cargo bikes) after amending the 2023 state budget to cut VAT from 23% to 6%.

People In The Park: POSTPONED We have this evening, after consulting with the council, sponsors and other people involved, taken the difficult decision to postpone People In The Park. We will be in touch with stall holders and performers over the next few days with more details.

The ITV show with Her Majesty and Sir David Attenborough touring the gardens of Buckingham Palace and discussing the trees and nature showed her huge knowledge and passion. She was a true leader and will be missed by us all.

She has overseen changes at Windsor Castle and Buckingham Palace to run the buildings on solar, wind and hydro power.

Salisbury Transition City mourns the death of Queen Elizabeth II. She was an inspirational leader and passionate about wildlife and nature. She launched projects such as The Queen's Green Canopy, which has provided 3 million trees to schools, charities and other groups.
