With a tool belt and a head lamp, a video partner, and a new batch of songs. It’s been brutal, and beautiful, and vulnerable, and worth it?? *takes headlamp off to think… hard to tell these days, just following an inner voice that keeps saying “one more day, you can almost reach it..” maybe that’s what a curious life is always gonna be (this post is getting away from me) ..either way the gas pedal is going straight to the floor. I saw that Franky from @americanpickers passed away yesterday. Two days in a row now of legends in their fields passing. Another quick story: I was playing the Barbary Coast the night American Pickers were filming in town and Franky and the crew wanted to catch some live music. They were steered to Barbary Coast and they caught the end of our show and then we sat and had some PBR’s and I listened to some of the best picker’s stories from the source himself. The way he talked you could tell how much he loved finding old rusty gold and giving it a second life. Rest in peace Franky. 🏍️

The Kamala Capital Gains Tax WILL DOUBLE Home Prices Overnight The Math 🧮 The average $440,000 home will have to be sold for $648,000 to net the same dollars to seller. 1) Sellers will increase price to make up difference. 2) Fewer homes will sell - already at all time low. 2) Sellers will turn homes into rentals exacerbating housing shortage. 3) New buyers will be priced out of the market allowing institutions to dominate ownership of real assets. 4) Tens of millions of Americans will be unable to access their equity during retirement.

iLok having a nationwide outage is ruining my recording session tonight. ProTools won’t even open. Any other musician friends dealing with this?
