Let's talk about bending and genetics and we'll use the children of Aang and Katara as our sample case. First, let's just stick with the basic Punnett Square set up you all learned in school. It's likely Bending is dependant on more than one gene, but let's assume it just needs 1

@2000s_baby @Alhaji_dubaa It is indeed hereditary. Kataras parents werent benders but they had recessive genes

@adewale_ad30628 I really think having that long stretch of time between series to allow the world to believable change would have helped a lot. And would have tabled a lot of the, "Let us see x character from the original show," issues.

@adewale_ad30628 Honestly, I really think one of the big mistakes they keep making is going to the very next Avatar. I understand the temptation. But imagine if instead of being directly after Aang we followed a water bender 150 years after Aang or something like that.

@Jinsakuu Oh, this is going to be even more dogshit than I thought. And I'm still in the camp that I won't believe this movie is coming out until after I've watched it.

@TheEZRider Oh, and we don't know what the lions and Voltron look like yet. The only clue we have is a leaked image, that I was believe proven to be false from like 2010. So, it's that bad.

@TheEZRider Well, a live action Voltron movie was first announced in 2005. Sometime after that Pharell was attached as a producer. He's since left, and now Henry Cavill is attached instead. Principle photography has wrapped, it's skipping theaters and going straight to streaming.

@kiyodia After the series she'll have been hanging out with Ty Lee, who might be giving her fashion advice. Also, red makes a good contrast to Sokka's blue.
