Carmelo Hayes' US Title run was the best thing on SmackDown. He held it down during rough times. The fact that he probably won't make it to WM is criminal.

@connxrrrrr What I find funny is that the women's tag team matches over the past three or four weeks have almost all ended in DQ or a screwjob finish, but the one match that should have had a screw job ending didn't.

Making Carmelo lose after carrying that belt for months just to tease him being added to the WM match and then making him lose again is a massive slap in the face

@WrestleFeatures I could definitely feel the frustration from Cody. I don't think all of that was acting, how could he not look at this situation and not feel unsatisfied with the result? It was a simple story to tell with deep history, what's the purpose of adding Pat? Makes no damn sense.

@WrestleOps Regardless, I do feel for him because we all know what happened last year with Travis Scott being inserted into the main event unceremoniously. Adding Pat McAfee into this story feels like trying to fit a square peg into a round hole, it doesn't make sense and it's not good.

@WrestleOps With how terrible the rest of the show was, I actually found this to be comedic relief. I know it's stupid and the tag team division booking is laughable on SmackDown, this was the least concerning thing on SmackDown that I watched.
