I've seen a number of posts claiming a new shade for Titans Blue or differentiating the shade from prior Titans or Oilers looks. But it's still Pantone 279C.

@fashion_nfl @TruColorNet This is awesome - any idea what exact color gray is in the Steelers logo? Hoping to find for decorative purposes (black or yellow walls are not ideal)

To clarify - the NFL only supplied color chips (no Pantone values) for the teams and league colors until 1980 or so. So everything prior to 1980 is essentially an estimate. However, I have a couple of the pre-1980 official guides that have the color chips and have painstakingly matched the chips to official Pantone guides to get accurate “guesses”.

Per @TruColorNet, that's been the shade since 1981 (and estimated to go even further back to 1975). And if you've never taken a trip to that site, do yourself a favor and check it out: trucolor.net

Back in 2019, explored a rebrand with @DunedinBlueJays. Contract signed w/ Toronto, sketches done, vectors near complete before everything was canceled. The first concept was Pipers. Dunedin is heavily Scottish and Sandpiper piper made sense. Florida beach bird 🤝Canadian bird.

New (old) jerseys looking great! Wordmark split in the right place again and slightly bolder back numbers adding some visual weight.
