Congratulations to cohort three, who presented their research yesterday and are wrapping up their time in the REU program today!

Join us on Thursday, July 25th for a research presentation from the 2024 cohort of the NSF Research Experience for Undergraduates, followed by a reception to celebrate the completion of the three year project!

REU students spend Friday mornings listening to research presentations from faculty, researchers, and Ph.D. students about their areas of expertise. Last week, Dr. Lacey Roughton presented on her ongoing project studying officer decertification.

The third year of the NSF Research Experience for Undergraduates: The Scope and Consequences of Hate Crime Victimization in the South begins this week! This year's project is focused on qualitative interviews with law enforcement and law makers.
